24+ Matching Support WS

Dear Blessed Families!
We want to warmly invite you to the upcoming European 24+ Matching Support Workshop. The WS is designed for Second Generation and Jacob Children who are at least 24 years old and their parents. It is tailored to the needs of young adults in this age group who would like to be matched and blessed.

There will then be separate programmes for parents and young people, which will be a mixture of talks and activities to enable people to get to know each other in a supportive environment. There will also be opportunities to receive support in using the website and developing your blessing profile, and time to discuss personal situations with members of staff on a one-to-one basis. There will be matching supporters, BFED and ESGD staff available for personal talks and consultations.

Matching Support WS is not a Blessing Preparation Workshop (as one of the requirements to attend the Blessing). It is designed to help and support successful Matching and its content is primarily focused on it.

European 24+ Matching Support WS – key information
Invited are: All Second Generation and Jacob Children over 24 years of age, and their parents
Dates: 8 – 11 November 2018
Arrival: by 18:30 on 8 November (Thursday) to Prasnik-Dubrava resort or by 17:30 to Bratislava airport in case you take a private coach
Departure: after 12:30 on 11 November (Sunday) from Prasnik-Dubrava resort
Please plan your departure from Bratislava airport after 16:00 and from Vienna airport after 17:30 on 11 November
Place: Prasnik-Dubrava resort, 922 11 Prasnik district Piestany, Slovakia

Regular WS fee is 130 EUR per person – reduced fee is only 90 EUR !!!
Due to a funding support, the WS fee is reduced by 40 EUR for each participant! There are few more places available!

Registration is prolonged – register the latest by the 30th October online here

Local transport: We plan to organize a private coach (bus) from Bratislava airport to the WS venue for arrivals and then from the WS venue to the airport for departures (additional charge of 20 EUR for return trip will apply). If you would like to travel with the coach please indicate when registering for the workshop.

Otherwise we can arrange pick up from Prasnik bus station. You can find more details at the end of the letter.

When making your travel-plans note that Vienna airport is only 90 minutes away from Bratislava airport. There is regular bus connection between Vienna airport and Bratislava airport.

Travel information 

  1. Private coach from (and to) Bratislava airport

We plan to organize a private coach (bus) for those who wish to take it. It is the most convenient way how to come to the WS place unless you travel with your car or with a taxi. On 8 November (arrival day) the coach will leave from Bratislava airport at 17:30. Therefore you need to plan your arrival to the Bratislava airport early enough. The drive to the WS venue takes about 60 min. On 11 November (departure day) the coach will leave at 12:30 from the WS venue (Prasnik-Dubrava resort). The drive to the airport takes about 60 min. Therefore, you need to plan your flight from Bratislava airport after 16:30 on 11 November. You will be kindly asked to pay 20 EUR for the return trip with a private coach. You need to register for the coach latest by 30 October.

  1. Travel by car

If you travel by car, please arrive between 17:00-18:30 on 8 November to the Prasnik-Dubrava resort. Address: Prasnik-Dubrava resort, 922 11 Prasnik district Piestany, Slovakia. Google maps view

  1. Travel by local public transport

We can provide pick-up from Prasnik bus stop. Connection to Prasnik is by bus (Slovak Lines) from Piestany city. Note that the bus station in Piestany city is next to the train station. You can check your bus connection at www.cp.sk (select English language at the bottom right corner of the homepage). However, we recommend you to take a private coach from Bratislava airport which is certainly more convenient and much easier.
