We would like to inform you about European workshops related to Matching and Blessing preparation designed for Blessed Children, Jacob Children and their parents. The dates and locations are already set and we will open registrations later in the summer.

26 – 29 September 2019: 24+ Matching Support WS
The WS is designed for Blessed Children and Jacob Children who are at least 24 years old and their parents. It is tailored to the needs of young adults in this age group who would like to be matched and blessed. There will then be separate programmes for parents and young people, which will be a mixture of talks and activities to enable people to get to know each other in a supportive environment.
There will also be opportunities to receive support in using the website and developing your blessing profile, and time to discuss personal situations with members of staff on a one-to-one basis. There will be matching supporters, BFED and ESGD staff available for personal talks and consultations.
Location: Prasnik-Dubrava resort (near Bratislava), Slovakia

28 November – 1 December 2019: Blessing preparation WS
The workshop is designed for Blessed Children and Jacob Children aged 17+ who want to learn about Blessing and matching tradition and for their parents. The WS is also for all those who wish to prepare for the Blessing whether already matched or not. Attending together as parents and children is something we recommend, as it can be a positive experience to support the Parents Matching process. There will be time to reflect, share and also work on one’s personal situation.
Location: Seminarhaus Neumühle, Bad Camberg (near Frankfurt), Germany

NOTE: We expect the next Blessing event to take place in February 2020. There will be no other Blessing preparation WS held in December or January. Therefore, all those who wish to attend the next Blessing and still need to participate in Blessing preparation WS should do so in November 2019.

We will send detailed information and start registration process at the beginning of July for 24+ Matching Support WS and in August for Blessing preparation WS.
